Just got the MVBC Loop Tour route for this year. Bend, Prineville, Cove Palisades, Sisters (with layover), Oakridge, Crescent Lake, La Pine, Bend. June 21-29.
I can't wait to go. I've never been to any of it except Bend and that was skiing at Mt. Bachelor, so I've never seen any of it in daylight. Apples and Oranges.
I can't decide about Gorge Explorer ride. The weather always gets to me there, but what would I do here otherwise? Seems like the group always has some pretty cool people too.

I will not be doing the CGE tour again year because a) the organizers were rude to me last year and do not allow any "partying" of any sort - lights out by dusk. Yawn. The mandatory evening meetings flabbergasted me: suggesting folks try pacelining for the first time in the rain on the freeway with strangers on loaded bikes. Yikes. b) i got a spot on the Oregon Outback which encourages adventure and fun. = )
